Why is overthinking bad for you?

Overthinking gives you a false sense of control. It’s a delusional state where you imagine endless scenarios — usually the worst possible outcomes. And this can increase stress and mental health issues.

Another problem with overthinking is that it prevents you from finding solutions. When you’re facing a tough situation, overthinking clouds your ability to act. Plus, it can disturb your sleep and overall well-being.

Allowing yourself to overthink is unhealthy and can even ruin your life. You miss important moments and opportunities and shed unnecessary tears instead of smiling. That’s why today, I want to share a few practical tips on how to stop overthinking.
